WoW aims to increase the awareness of young women on the role of online working as an employment opportunity and the prospective engagement in distance working. By being a part of this project, young women will be better equipped to compete in the global digital economy.
WoW will be implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Development and it is financed through EYE – Enhancing Youth Employment and the project will be delivered by A.U.K
The project will carry out a program on general and technical courses in the regions of Podujeva and Mitrovica by mobilizing and providing skills for 50 women from each of the municipalities; in order to provide them with online working abilities using Internet job marketplaces. These women will come from different ethnic backgrounds because one of this project’s aims is to promote diversity.
Through WoW, we will offer courses free of charge on:
Soft Skills (Communication Skills/Personal Development and Marketing/Management Skills)
Online Work and Online Platform Course
WebEx online based courses with all participants on time management, customer care, billing and financial management and Kosovo tax rules
Bookkeeping QuickBooksOnline (Intuit)
The course is designed to equip candidates with skills in bookkeeping using online version of QuickBooks®, including navigation through QuickBooks modules, accounting rules, recording transactions, and reporting.

Android™ Application Development
The course embeds Java Fundamentals for Android as well as the Application Development that will equip students with all the necessary skills to design and build a complete Android application.
This course is an exploration of computer generated vector graphics and bitmap images as a creative medium. Through the use of industry-standard software, Adobe Creative Suite, study the fundamentals of graphic design and learn to conceptualize and present ideas in visual form.
Social Media Marketing
The course is designed to equip candidates with skills in working with a wide scope of social media, use advance features for marketing, customer service and PR; understand the content marketing and the potential of social media.
Multilayered Mentorship (Project team members, WoW beneficiaries, AUK Alumni and Dedicated expert from the field).
20 hours of Mentorship per student provided from previous WoW beneficiaries.
Mentorship will be Peer-to-peer, face-to-face, online or/and by telephone.
