Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Prep Courses

The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States. The exam aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills and it is not related to any specific field of study. The GRE is supposed to measure the extent to which undergraduate education has developed an individual’s verbal and quantitative skills in abstract thinking.
Our GRE course is a comprehensive and helps students build their skills each week and increase their confidence level over the span of the course. The course is an intensive three-week, in-person, classroom-based course consisting of 24 hours of instruction time.

In this class students will learn:

  • The ins and outs of the GRE exam such as scoring, format and structure and techniques to reach optimal results
  • The logic behind the questions and understand why the right answers are right and why the wrong answers are wrong
  • To identify where their strong and weak points lie and ways how to improve
  • Tips and techniques on how to approach the questions in the exam
  • Effective pacing strategies to ensure the efficient use of time during the exam
  • Essay writing skills tailored to the requirements of the exam

Course structure

The course is an immersion experience, so in addition to the in-class work you will be assigned a supplementary 6 to 7 hours of homework. The course consists of lectures, interactive use of problems to illustrate ideas, question and answer sessions and content reviews.

Each module will be followed by a graded test in order to conduct micro-assessment for each section.
