This is a 12 training hours professional course thoroughly covering the Android™ security model and concerns from both the developer and end-user point of view.

Upon completing the course, the individual will be able to meet the following objectives:

- Build Android applications with security best practices in mind.
- Build more secure and more robust application that appeals to clients.

Audience
The course is intended for anyone who has basic knowledge and skills in Android applications development. The candidates can meet the course pre-requisite by attending the Android Application Development course (AND-401) or knowledge equivalent to the course.
Schedule
The course is delivered in 12 contact hours of training.
Classes are usually held three times a week on two-hour sessions. There are two possible day combinations: Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday.

AND-402: Android Security Essentials Exam
Questions of this exam are based on the content of “Android Security Essentials” course.
Upon passing this exam, you will only get a score report. You need to complete the AND-403 Monetize Android Applications exam to get the “Android certified Application Engineer” certificate.
